Assurant Solutions appoints Sales and Marketing Director

Assurant Solutions, a specialist in creating, underwriting and administering niche insurance protection products, has appointed Drazen Jaksic as Sales and Marketing Director.

Drazen will be responsible for identifying relevant market opportunities that support the corporate strategy as well as the acquisition, maintenance and development of the client portfolio. This will include overseeing the research and development of new product introductions and enhancements to meet the needs of customers.

Drazen Jaksic joins Assurant Solutions from Prudential where he spent the last three years as Head of Relationship Management and Account Development Director. He was responsible for developing new and managing existing corporate clients. Prior to this, Drazen spent eleven years at GE Capital in a variety of senior roles including Managing Director of Three X Communication and General Manager of GE Financial Insurance, Central Europe.

Assurant Solutions specialises in creating insurance products including mortgage and loan payment protection, income protection, personal accident, extended property solutions (warranty and product replacement), and credit card price and purchase protection. The business works with financial institutions, intermediaries, brokers and high street and home shopping retailers to design, develop, underwrite, administer and market these niche insurance lines.
